MakeBeLeaves - Custom Silk Trees and Plants

LACMA is preparing for the grand opening of their new building, The New Resnick Pavilion, beginning this weekend. Make Be-Leaves provided this grand focal floral arrangement for one of the rooms in the Eye For The Sensual exhibition in the building. I should have photographed someone standing next to the urn, to see the scale of this very large arrangement. The designers originally specified all white & creme flowers, but once we created the arrangement and placed it in the urn, it was decided that the flowers needed to be muted to blend more with the wall covering. Due to the extremely tight time frame, it was suggested by one of the designers that we could "dye" the existing white & creme flowers using very strong tea. So..... I set up my "tea staining production", and in record time, produced the muted, antique hued flowers shown in this arrangement, which blended beautifully with the wall covering.
