This charming London pub is called The Albert, located on Victoria Street in London. Pubs have been an important social gathering place for the locals - in the small hamlets & villages, as well as larger cities.

Bath is an elegant city, known for its beautiful Georgian architecture and famous ancient Roman Baths. These Impressive Roman Baths date back to @ 76 A.D.., but the natural hot springs were first used by hunters in the Stone Age - @ 7,500 years ago! Also, the city of Bath and Florence, Italy, are the only two cities in Europe to have a bridge with shops along them.

This is actually a Living Wall on a building at Trafalgar Square in London. The artistically designed planting of live plants looks like a beautiful tapestry.

The city of York is an ancient Viking city - originally dating back to the Roman times. The tallest, towering building is the famous Minster Cathedral of York. The city is enclosed by an ancient stone wall with a high walkway - which is a wonderful way to view the city. There is a famous section of this city called "the Shambles" with narrow, colorful medieval streets filled with a variety of shops.

Last week we installed a custom UV outdoor plantscape for the entrance to one of the buildings of the prestigious Coronado Shores condominium complex. The large planters along the walls are a mix of a few live plants, and our UV stabilized outdoor plants. The UV plantscape included a variety of styles of boxwood topiaries and UV gardenias for color. Due to poor lighting and strong winds, the landscapers on the property had strongly recommended against replanting with live plants and trees. Make Be-Leaves provided the perfect solution.

This was a recent installation of silk UV outdoor plantings for a residential upper balcony, where watering & maintenance of live plantings had become burdensome. The rectangular planters filled with silk UV White Gardenias give a very elegant splash of color.

My last visit to France was in 1988 when we installed eighteen 20 ft. tall custom Ficus Trees for the Casino de Deauville. It was a great trip – we were thrilled to have the opportunity to be working on such a fabulous project (we were told that the Casino de Deauville was one of the most magnificent casinos in Europe), and we had some extra “fun” travel time once we completed the installation.

LACMA is preparing for the grand opening of their new building, The New Resnick Pavilion, beginning this weekend. Make Be-Leaves provided this grand focal floral arrangement for one of the rooms in the Eye For The Sensual exhibition in the building. I should have photographed someone standing next to the urn, to see the scale of this very large arrangement. The designers originally specified all white & creme flowers, but once we created the arrangement and placed it in the urn, it was decided that the flowers needed to be muted to blend more with the wall covering.
